Safety Matters!

All of our student ministry workers are fingerprinted and background checked by law enforcement before they are able to work with your child.

Pastor Jordan Chambers is the student pastor at FBCO and has led the student ministry since June 2017.  Pastor Jordan grew up at FBCO and felt the calling to the student ministry, where he and, his wife, Blair (along with their son, Judah) are investing themselves into the lives of our middle and high school students.

At FBCO, we do not believe that students are just the future of the church, or that they are the church in waiting. Rather, we see them as an essential part of the church right now. We believe that every middle school and high school student has the potential to make an impact in God’s kingdom. Some churches, view students as children needing to be entertained. We see students as young adults who need to be trained and equipped for the Kingdom work.

The FBCO Student Ministry (6th – 12th grade) strives to partner with the home to develop fully devoted and equipped followers of Jesus Christ.

Each week, our students are being challenged to be Biblically literate in a Biblically illiterate world. It is our desire that our students have a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul (Heb. 6:19) when they move into the next stage of their lives.

Our main ministry goal is that every student who graduates from high school while attending FBCO will continue their faith journey while in college. We want our students to own their faith and know what they believe.

If you are interested in working within our student ministry, please see Pastor Jordan.
